Mushing

We love the signs of winter. The dogs winter coats start to come in and we start getting the harnesses and sleds ready. The biggest guess is, "When is the snow going to fly?" We are very busy people and when we do get the chance, we hook them up to the quad and take them on short runs down the road. Nutrition is very important to us. We only feed our dogs BARF (Biologically Approved Raw Food). This is raw meat with no grains or other bi-products that dogs can’t digest properly. The dogs coats look shiny, no tartar on their teeth, no worries about them getting sick, and best of all clean up is much "cleaner". Weaning pups, we start them around 4 weeks and with a little bit of the raw chicken mixed with water, they chow this right down. This is a great way to start them towards a healthy life. The pictures below were taken out at Spray Lakes, one of the areas that was used for filming Snow Dogs, and some are taken at our place.
